FAQ

We know you have a lot of questions - and we have a lot of answers!

How do I arrange for LD Premier Tutoring?

You contact the director at Director@LDPremierTutoring.com and make an appointment for a phone screening followed by a Zoom interview. You can also fill out our contact form on our contact page.

Do I need to provide official documentation of a learning disability to work with you?

No, you do not need official documentation. However, self-awareness and description of your past learning successes and challenges along with any past accommodations are helpful to share.

How does LD Premier Tutoring work?

After meeting with the director, you are paired with a Learning Specialist who will support that specific course.  Our supports are Syllabus driven, with content area, learning strategies and time management skills. You will meet with the same Learning Specialist at a specific time in 45 minute sessions, weekly. On request, sessions can be twice a week. Visit our "Why Us" page to learn more.

How many tutoring sessions will I need?

We are built on consistency; therefore, we either do packages of half-semester (8 sessions) or full semester (16 sessions). We adjust to colleges that are tri-mester and to students who prefer to meet twice weekly for course specific tutoring.

When can I begin?

As soon as you meet with the director, share your information and your course syllabus, you can be paired with a Learning Specialist and meet virtually to set up a convenient weekly session time.

What do I do if I want /need more information?

For more information, email our director and she will be happy to answer all questions and give you pricing.
