About Us
We are syllabus-driven, and each session is course-specific. The professional staff recognizes that every student learns differently, so we begin at the zone of proximal development expanding skills and strategies while applying this to the content area.
LD Premier Tutoring is directed by Sharon W. Fleischer.
Sharon has worked as a LDTC doing academic evaluations, as a Learning Specialist at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Regional Center for college students with learning disabilities for twenty years, and as an adjunct teaching Metacognitive Strategies Courses for over fifteen years.
Now, at LD Premier Tutoring, Sharon sees the need to help college students with learning differences have personalized support with trained Learning Specialists to achieve academic success through skill development, learning strategy exposure, assistive technology application and confidence building with role playing.
